who I am

Hi, I'm Basanta Sharma — a Staff Software Engineer leading technical initiatives in Software Defined Networks at IBM. Born in Darjeeling, educated at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, and now based in Bangalore, India.

Beyond code and architecture, I write poems and essays in Nepali under the pen name उन्मेशित — capturing thoughts on love, life, and the world around me. This is a space where I share my work, my photographs, and the people who matter most.
